Soldier of Santa Barbara Presidio

Pascual Antonio Garcia y Lugo was born on 10 April 1784 at Mission San Antonio to Felipe Santiago Garcia ("Soldado de cuera") and Petra de Alcantara Lugo. He was baptized there on the same day (SAP Baptism 01040). He married Maria Antonia Salomea Higuera on 27 July 1806 at Mission San Gabriel (SG Marriage 00961). After she died, he married Juana Juliana Sanchez on 23 June 1824 at Santa Barbara Presidio Chapel (BP Marriage 00124). He died of fever about 23 December 1841 in Alta California and was buried on 24 December 24 1841 at San Carlos Cemetery (SC Death 03081Y).
