Don E. Baker, 83, Alexandria passed away on Friday, February 3, 2017 at Treasure Coast Hospice in Stuart, Florida. He was born on January 21, 1934 in Ledbetter, Kentucky to Clarence and Clora (Gremer) Baker.
Don was a truck driver for most his life and retired from Holland Trucking in 1994 after 30 years of driving. He was former member of the Alexandria Masonic Lodge and attended the former Calvary Temple in Anderson. He was also a member of the Teamsters. Don enjoyed fishing, boating and "teasing" his family and friends.

3 Daughters-Brenda (John) Knapp, Debbie (Tim) Horn and Cindy Benson all of Alexandria
2 Sons-Dennis (Tamee) Baker-Summitville, Terry (Elizabeth) Baker-Port St. Lucie, Florida
Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 64 years-Ruby Baker in 2015, a Grandson-Justin Benson, 4 brothers and a sister
Services honoring Don's life and legacy will take place at 3 pm on Thursday in the Owens Funeral Home, 412 North Harrison Street, Alexandria. Rev. Courtley Granger will officiate. Interment will follow in Park View Cemetery in Alexandria.
