Ellamae Crawford
The death of Ellamae (Edmondson) Crawford of Hampton, NB, wife of the late Howard Crawford, occurred on Thursday, July 21, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born in Bear Island, NB a daughter of the late Brook and Mae (Rosborough) Edmondson. Ellamae was employed at Sears for 15 years before her retirement. She was a member at Central Norton United Baptist Church and attended of St. Matthew's Presbyterian Church. Survived by two sons: Reverend John Crawford (Heather) of Quispamsis, NB and Dale Crawford of Hampton; two daughters: Kim Crawford (Scott Medford) of Lower Norton, NB, and Faye Roper (Stephen) of North Sydney, NS; two brothers: Ross and Ronald Edmondson; two sisters: Marion Merrithew and Hattie Black; nine grandchildren: Jessica and Devin Roper, Kristen, Rachel and Lauren Anderson, Delaney, Ryan, Andrew, and Timothy Crawford, and several nieces and nephews. Ellamae was predeceased by her brothers: Ernest and Harold Edmondson, sisters: Doris Burnett, Kathleen Johnson, Hazel Edmondson and Eva Bigelow.
At her request there will be no visitation. Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, July 24, 2005 at St. Matthew's Presbyterian Church, Douglas Ave, Saint John at 1:00 pm. Interment will take place in Wilmont Rural Cemetery, Fredericton. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, (634-7424). Remembrances may be made to Central Norton United Baptist Church or to a charity of the donor's choice.
