William Custer "Bill” Whitt, age 80, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2017.

Born in Anderson County, SC on October 5, 1936, he was the son of the late David Whitt and the late Iris W. Perguson. He worked for Electric Motor and Drive where he later retired. He was a member of Blue Ridge Baptist Church.

He is survived by his daughter, Dawana Young (Donnie); a brother, James Whitt (Dot); three grandchildren, Shannon Young (Britney), Casey Ashley (BJay), and Jennifer Justice (Clint); nine great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Patricia Price.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rosetta Bonner Whitt; one brother and one sister.

The funeral service will be held in the Mausoleum Chapel at Forest Lawn Memorial Park on Wednesday, February 8, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. with the Reverend Richard Busha officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
