FARLEY--Gerard Merlin Jaeger, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Jaeger, Farley, died at 3:45 p.m. Monday at a Dubuque hospital five and a half hours after birth.
Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Sanner Funeral Home. The Rev. Robert L. Kalb, assistant pastor of St. Joseph's Church, officiate at the service and at burial in the church cemetery.
Surviving are his parents; one sister, Sheila; one brother, Stephen; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Anton Lehmann, Farley; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Matt Jaeger, Holy Cross, and great grandparents, Michael Lehmann, Dyersville, and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Habel, Balltown.
