Joe served his country in the US Air Force where he trained as a missile technician and served in England and Scotland.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents Elton and Dovie Yates, his first wife Anita (Ratcliff) Yates, son Patrick Shawn, brother Thomas Yates and sister Kathleen Fulton.
He is survived by his second wife, two sons, one daughter, two daughters-in-law, two grandchildren, one sister, two step-sons, one step-daughter, several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 8 2017 at 1:30 pm at Fellowship Bible Church, Rogers Arkansas. Graveside service will be at 4:00 pm at Dickson Cemetery.
