David J. Fort 67, of Indianapolis, passed away on January 31, 2016. He was born in Indianapolis, IN to the late Raymond D. and Magdalene V. (Navin) Fort. David graduated Cathedral High School in 1966 and attended Purdue. His past employment included General Manager and Chief Engineer for Daystar Inc., Game Day Frequency Coordinator for the National Football League and an engineer for the Town of Speedway. David was a member of the Society of Broadcast Engineers, Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc., Eagle Creek Sailing Club and the United States Power Squadron. He is survived by cousins, Leo J. (Mary Ellen) Hahn, Richard F. Hahn, Loretta M. Williams and numerous family members. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 19, 2016 at St. Christopher Catholic Church, 5301 W 16th St, Indianapolis, IN with visitation from 9:30 a.m. until time of service. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Vincent Foundation, 8402 Harcourt Road, Suite 210 Indianapolis, IN 46260 or American Cancer Society, 8520 Northwest Blvd. Indianapolis, IN 46278.
