Dave was the only son of Magdalene (Navin) and Raymond Fort. He graduated from Cathedral High School in 1966 and attended Purdue University. He was employed by a TV station as chief engineer. He died in St. Vincent Hospital. His funeral was at St. Christopher on February 19, 2016. He was entombed August 4, 2016.
