Beatrice I. "Bea" Malicoat, 87, of Danville, died Feb. 2, 2017. Bea was born in Indianapolis Apr. 28, 1929 to George and Loretta (Royce) Tigner. She was a member of West Bridge Church in Danville of which she served as head custodian from 1971 until 2012. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tues., Feb. 7 at the church, located at 1521 S. Co. Road 75 W. (Mackey Road), with visitation there 4-8 p.m. Mon., Feb. 6. Burial will take place in Danville South Cemetery. Bea married James "Jim" Malicoat in 1945, he preceded her in death Dec. 23, 2004. Survivors include her children; Terri Rosner- Danville, Linda Crain - Ill., Marvin and Scott Malicoat, both of Indianapolis, Mike Malicoat - Avon, Deric Malicoat - Ill., Jerry, Mark and Brent Malicoat, all of Danville, 25 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren. Bea was also preceded in death by a son, Richard "Dick" Malicoat.
