Carmen was born to the union of Joseph & Eloise (Smith) Husband both of whom preceded her in death along with two sisters, Donna Lanier & Misty Husband.
Carmen attended South Bend Community Schools and worked for St. Joseph Regional Medical Center and the Indiana Troll Road.
Carmen loved to dress in the latest fashions and being with her family and friends, especially her great-niece, Paige A.K.A Paige 7 who kept her motivated during her three month journey with lung cancer.
Survivors left to cherish her memory include her fiance, David Madison of South Bend, IN; four sisters, Antoinette (Robert) Jenkins of South Bend, Lisa Husband, Jovita Bland and Hiawatha (Robert) Merriweather all of Sacramento, CA; three brothers, Danny (Connie) Husband, Joseph A. (Ericka) Husband and Christopher (Heather) Husband, all of South Bend, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Special thanks to Memorial Cancer Center and Radiology Dept.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday February 8th 2017 at Alford's Mortuary with viewing from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
The family request that all contributions be made to Alford's Mortuary.
