Craig D. Myers, 96 yrs. of Honey Brook, passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Neighborhood Hospice in West Chester.

He was born on Sept. 18, 1920 in Quarryville, Pa. He was the son of the late William C. and Mabel (Decker) Myers. He was the husband of the late Rose L. (Guiseppe) Myers, who died on January 5, 2012.

Craig was a graduate of the Quarryville High School, Class of 1937. He was a well-known self-employed excavation contractor. Craig was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, the Parish K.O.C., Honey Brook Fire Company, and the former Honey Brook Grange.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jane M. Wills, a grandson, Mark Wills, and a brother, Carl W. Myers.

Craig is survived by his three sons, Donald D. Myers of Honey Brook, Richard G. (Janice) Myers of Gap, and Simple, aka Ronald J. Myers of Birdsboro, a son in law, Richard C. Wills, Sr. of Honey Brook and a grandson, Richard “Rickey” Jr. (Michelle) Wills of West Chester.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 11AM from Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 150 Water Street, New Holland, Pa. 17557.

Interment will follow at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.

A calling hour will be held from 6 to 8 PM on Friday at The Labs Funeral Home, Inc., 141 Pequea Ave., Honey Brook, Pa. There will be no viewing held on the day of the mass.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in the memory of Craig to Our lady of Lourdes Catholic Church at the above address.
