On 15 August 1717, Hendrick Hendrickson of New Utrecht in Kings Co., yeoman am holden and firmly bound to Jacques Teunissen of the town and county aforesaid, in the Pinell sum of ffour hundred pounds lawful money of New York to be paid unto the said Jacques Teunissen his certain attorney executor admrs. or assigns for the which payment will and truly to be made and done I do bind my self my heirs executors and admrs. firmly by these presents sealed with my seal dated this fiveteenth day of August in the ffourth year of his majesties Reign Anno Dom. 1717. The condition of this obligation is such that if the alone boounden Hendrick hendrickse shall and do according to agreement to be made will and truly by good deed in the law convey unto the above named Jacques teunissen his heirs and assigns all that right and Title which by certain letter patent he the said Hendrick Hendrickse now hath in and to a certain ferry at the narrows between Nassau island and Staten island at the time of the decease of his now wife or when her youngest son called Teunis Teunissen shall attain to the age of twenty one years which shall first happen then this present obligation to be void and of none effect she to be and remain in full force and virtue.
