Mrs. Myrtle (Barrick) Gamble, 60, wife of David Gamble, died Thursday morning, August 17, in her home at Dellroy. She was a native of Harrison Twp. and a member of Union Valley Methodist Church. She is also survived by two sons, David of near Sherrodsville and Marion of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Margaret Cartwright of Robertsville, Mrs. Iva Newell of Carrollton and Mrs. Neva McHenry of Canton; her mother, Mrs. Mary M. Barrick of Dellroy; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Sell of Leavittsville and Miss Nila Barrick of Dellroy; and a brother, J. T. Barrick of Dellroy. Services were held Sunday in the home and later in the Methodist church with Rev. William Miller in charge. Interment was in Union Valley cemetery by the McCreery parlors of Magnolia.
