Adele Dilk (Walker) was the second child of Johann Walker and Eva Schick. She was born in Krowica, Lasowa, Galicia, Austria [now Poland] on May 11, 1883 and was baptized on May 24. She immigrated to Canada with her parents on May 13, 1899. The family settled in the Tupper District in the rural municipality of Westbourne, Manitoba. In 1900, Adele married Valentin Dilk who was born in Gidnau, Russia on December 13, 1880. His family immigrated to Canada in 1894. Valentin and Adele farmed originally in the Tupper area and then moved to the Waldersee area. They had 10 children. Valentin died on March 16, 1926 at age 46. In 1934, Alele remarried to Karl Buchler of Moosehorn, Manitoba and he died in 1944. Adele married her third husband, Henry Kreutzer, from Steinbach, Manitoba and lived there until her death on January 22, 1966. She and first husband Valentin are buried at Waldersee, Manitoba, Canada.
