Virgil H. Reynolds, Jr. age 76 of Lenoir City TN , formerly of Sheffield Alabama, passed away Friday evening January 19, 2001 at Park West Hospital.

Virgil was a member of the Lenoir City Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He was Retired from the Tennessee Valley Authority as a power plant manager. Virgil was a graduate of Auburn University. He was a veteran of World War II serving with the Army Air Corp.

Survivors: wife of 50 years Glenn Austin Reynolds; daughter and son-in-law, Ann and Paul Thompson of Blairsville Georgia; son and daughter-in-law, William and Lynn Reynolds of Austell Georgia; grandchildren, Elizabeth and Daniel Reynolds, Dennis Thompson; brother and sister-in-law, Winston and Juanell Reynolds of Florence Alabama; sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Thompson and husband Frank of Oklahoma City Oklahoma and Frances Whitehead of Tuscumbia Alabama.

The family will receive friends from 2-2:45 p.m. Sunday and proceed to Loudon County Memorial Gardens for grave side services at 3 p.m. with Rev. Ken Phillips officiating.
