Mrs. Sarah Lue Douglas a resident of Montgomery, Alabama departed this life Saturday, January 22, 2017 . Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. from North Montgomery Baptist Church with Rev. Derwin Perry, officiating. Interment in Eastwood Cemetery. She is survived by her husband Jessie Lee Douglas; three children, Orlando Douglas, Stone Mountain, GA; Cedric L. Douglas (Anita), Kimberly D. Ball (Gregory) both of Montgomery, AL; five grandchildren, Demetric (Brittany) Griggs, Kroshunda Douglas, Genita Ball, Tenisha Douglas and Satrinia Douglas all of Montgomery, AL; five great grandchildren, Genajhia Ball, Jordan Slayton, Harmony Griggs, Gavin Ball and Bailey Griggs, Montgomery,AL; seven brothers-in-law, Matthew Douglas Jr., New York, NY, Leon (Mamie) Douglas, Montgomery, AL; George (Kim) Douglas, New York, NY; Willie L. Douglas and James Douglas both of Montgomery, AL; Rev. Larry Boldin, Mary Esler, FL; and John Terrell, Montgomery, AL; Preceded her in death Elliot Douglas; five sisters-in-law, Colinda Chappelle, Bronette (John) Terrell, preceded her in death; Cynthia Douglas, Louise Douglas, Mattie Allen, Troy, AL; Jenett Boldin, Ft. Walton Beach, FL; special nieces and friends, Valencia Gilmore, Wanda Gilmore, Shirley Jackson and Michael Chappelle. She will truly be missed by many and definitely loved by all that she came in contact with. Sarah had a host of nieces and nephews that loved her, and she loved dearly. Special sisters, Alma Wilson, Queen Coprich and Bennie Joyce Williams.
