Lillian A. Ball, 86, of Tunkhannock, died Friday, February 3rd at The Gardens at Tunkhannock. Born in East Lemon on January 20, 1931; the daughter of the late Frank and Anna Yurksza Ball.
Lil was employed at Endicott-Johnson Shoe Factory, The Prince Hotel, and Curry Donuts, all in Tunkhannock. She enjoyed family, friends and traveling.
Besides her parents, Lil was preceded in death by a sister, Grace and two brothers, Joseph and Arthur Ball.
Surviving are six sisters; Julia Faux of East Lemon, Freda Tokach of Laceyville, Eleanor and Richard Coy of Montrose, Delores Kostantewicz of South Auburn, Shirley Sichelstiel of Perry, Georgia and Nancy and Jim Fitch of Falls.
Funeral Service will be Tuesday at 11am from Harding-Litwin Funeral Home, 123 West Tioga Street, Tunkhannock, PA 18657, with Rev. John Buxton of the Tunkhannock United Methodist Church officiating. Interment is at Sunnyside Cemetery. Family and Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday evening 5 – 8pm and also on Tuesday an hour before the time of service.
Memorial contributions may be made to Triton Hose Company, 116 West Tioga Street, Tunkhannock PA 18657 or the charity of your choice.
