George J. Flynn, 53, of Bellingham, formerly of Worcester and Lawrence, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at Mass General Hospital, surrounded by his loving wife, children, family and friends.
He was the beloved husband of Celeste (Masse) Flynn.
George is predeceased by his father, Edward, and his late wife Connie.
George leaves his mother, Isabel (Wasgatt) Flynn of Nokomis, FL; his children James, Jessica and Joseph Kelly all of Bellingham and Sherri Davies of New Brownsfield, TX; his brothers, Joseph of Chicopee, Edward of Nokomis, FL, William of Worcester; his sisters, Mary Vessio of Worcester, and Eileen Leduc-Dean of Hebron, CT;
5 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was the husband of the late Constance (Sierra) Flynn.

George was born in Worcester and grew up in the Newton Hill area. He attended Blessed Sacrament School and also graduated from Worcester Boys Trade High School. George served his country in the Air Force. Prior to retirement, he worked at General Electric in Andover, MA. George was a member of PADI and was a certified scuba diver. He was an avid poker enthusiast. His love for the Boston Red Sox was known by many. He loved to travel and one of his cherished possesions was his 100th anniversary edition Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Mr. & Mrs. Flynn celebrated their second anniversary on July 4, 2006.

Funeral will be held Tues, 9 AM from Cartier's Funeral Home, 151 So. Main St., Bellingham with a Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM in St. Theresa Church, Rathburn St., Blackstone. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours Mon, 5-8 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to the American Liver Foundation NE Chapter, 88 Winchester St., Newton, MA 02461 or to charity of choice.
