Died peacefully at 86, 3 months from 87.

Jessie married Harold Jordon Lyman on Jan 19, 1952. Both were Dental Techs in the Navy. Jessie then became a stay at home mom raising 6 children.

Mama was a life long Girl Scout having surpassed 50 years of service a number of years ago. She loved roses and working in her garden. She hated household chores, preferring to give those to her children in lieu of being in the yard. She enjoyed camping and spent many a weekend with some of her many grandchildren in the mountains.
She taught her grandchildren to fish and enjoy the outdoors. Nothing was better than having s'mores or spice cake cooked in a coffee can.

A native California that loved to travel and had that opportunity when she married a Navy man. She was probably the biggest tomboy of the family.

So many things she would have tried if she had the opportunity. One of the funniest memories was when she rafted down the Animas river in Colorado and fell out of the raft. She just floated down the river until the raft caught up to her. She was about 78 then.
