Brenda Kay Patterson Duncan, 69, of Elizabethtown, died Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Baptist Hospital East in Louisville.

She was a native of Hardin County, and a former member of Severns Valley Baptist Church. She retired in 1994 from GTE where she was a telephone operator for 20 years. She enjoyed crocheting, putting together cards for Meals on Wheels in Louisville and loved her animals and farming with her husband.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Justus Edward Duncan and her parents, Randall Wallace and Naoma Wilkins Patterson.

She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Duncan of Louisville.

A graveside service will be Tuesday at 10 am at Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens with Dan Kelly officiating. Visitation will be from 4-8 pm Monday at Brown Funeral Home. Her hopes would be that if you were considering organ donation, you make the choice to donate.
