Kelly Davis, 46, was released from her pain on Saturday, January 28, 2017, as she went gently into the arms of her sweet Jesus. Complications following surgery at UT medical center took her from her loving husband of almost 25 years, Anthony LeAlan Davis, and her precious daughter, Gabrielle "Gabby" Lynn Davis, leaving them to share sweet memories of a fantastic mother and a cherished wife.

Born July 2, 1970, to James C. Robinson and Peggy Hall Robinson, Kelly graduated with the class of 1988 from Morristown West. After receiving her degree from Walters State, she saw her dream come true with the opening of Kelly's Kids Early Learning Center in 1990.

She was preceded in death by grandparents Roy & Nellie M. Robinson and Forrest & Elsie D. Hall. She is survived by her husband Anthony & daughter Gabby, parents James & Peggy, in-laws Jimmy L. & Madge Davis, sister Tonya Douglas, brother Michael (Meredith) Robinson, and sister-in-law Tracilla Carroll; nephews Tyler, Austin, & Brayden Douglas, Michael Jr., Jason, Charlie, Cokie, Michael III, & Kurtis Robinson, and Johnathan Carroll; nieces Allissia Robinson and Larissa Carroll; her church family and a host of friends who she loved very much.

One of her greatest blessings was her friendship with Dr. Grace Forde, her neurologist in New York, who came to Tennessee to whisper a sweet good-by and spend some time with Anthony and Gabby.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 4, 2017, from 4-7pm with service to follow with Rev. Tom Wells at White Oak Grove Baptist Church (2750 White Oak Church Road, Morristown, 37813). Graveside service will be Sunday at 2 pm at Big Creek Baptist Church (803 Stanley Valley Road, Rogersville, 37857). For those unable to attend the services, the register will be available to sign at Allen's Funeral Home Thursday-Saturday 9-5 (until Saturday at 3 pm).

In lieu of flowers, a Kelly Davis Scholarship Fund for children that have attended Kelly's Kids has been set up at all First Tennessee banks in Morristown.
