Son of John and Edna Miller Lance and was married for 62 years to the love of his life Nancy Jean Etto Lance.
He served in the United States Navy Reserve and retired from LTV Steel as an electrician in 1992. He was a police officer for Newton Falls and Newton Township for 20 years.
Memories of Bob will be carried on by his loving wife, 3 sons, his daughter, his 7 grandchildren, his 10 surviving great grandchildren and his siblings
Preceding Robert were his daughter, Donna Jean Lance and his brother, Bill.
Robert will be laid to rest February 4, 2017 in the Berlin Township North Cemetery.
