Danny passed away suddenly at his home Wednesday, February 1, 2017. He was born in Sumter, SC, the son of Lois Rebecca Windham, Lee, Madison “Bubba” Lee and the late William “Bill” Marshall. He enjoyed landscaping, cooking for family, telling jokes and making others laugh. Retired from Pontiac Foods in 2015, he enjoyed the short time of retirement and had many plans to visit his children and grandchildren.
Danny is survived by his partner, Joey Jackson and mother in law Johellen Lee; children, Michael Stephen Lee (wife Amy), Michelle Lynette Lee (Jonathan Cowin) and Mitchell Timothy Lee (Jennifer Foley), all of Houston, TX; 9 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews; his sisters, Doris Rodgers (Bobby), Angela Marshall, Gayle DuRant (Stanley) and Patricia Payne-Lee; and beloved Pomeranians, Selena, Sebastian, and Sergio.
Kornegay Funeral Home, Lugoff-Elgin Chapel, is in charge of the arrangements.
