A Publication Notice in 1876 shows one of the persons listed as a "Frances J Woody".
Immediately below the Publication Notice, is another attachment that is handwritten which near the end of it reads...Frances Scott intermarried with _____ Woody who departed this life on the _____ day _____ (?)18 leaving his widow said Frances Scott....."

Based on the handwritten attachment, we know that Frances Scott was married to a person named Woody who died prior to or during 1876. Of course, the frustrating part is that had someone simply taken the time to fill in the blanks, it would state who she was married to and when he died.
There is an Estate Sale Article in 1871 for her father Vincent Scott (see his FG memorial). The estate sale article should have listed Frances Jane Woody as an heir. Frances was the oldest child of Vincent Scott. Instead of Frances, the article incorrectly listed an heir "Frank Woody" and another heir "Jane Woody" (aka: Frances Jane Woody).
