Mrs. Ida Prather
Ashmore, Ill. Mrs. Ida Prather, 84, Ashmore, died 10:15 a.m. Friday in the Hilltop Nursing Home, Charleston, following an illness of several months.
Funeral services will be at one p.m. Monday at Ashmore Presbyterian Church with burial in
the Ashmore Cemetery. Friends may call after six p.m. today at the Harper-Swickard Funeral Home, Charleston.
Mrs. Prather was born January 10, 1879, near Ashmore, the daughter of John F. and Arden Phelps Galbreath. She was the widow of John S. Prather, who died in 1949.
A member of the Ashmore Presbyterian church, Mrs. Prather taught Sunday School there for 50 years.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. John Bushart, Westfield, and Mrs. T. M. Green, Martinsburg, W. Va; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
