Marilyn Lee (Graham) Hall was born September, 20, 1934 at Logan, IA the daughter of Lloyd and Ruth Martin Graham. Marilyn grew up at Logan where she attended school, graduating from Logan High School in 1952. After high school she attended Iowa State University at Ames, IA. On October 11, 1959, she was united in marriage to Donald Hall at the United Methodist Church in LeMars, IA. Don and Marilyn raised their family at George. Marilyn worked as the office secretary at the Ellsworth Vet Clinic. Marilyn had a special love for animals and had many pets in her home her whole life. She enjoyed attending her children's activities throughout their years at George. In later years she was an avid sports fan for Central Lyon/George Little Rock and also Boyer Valley, where son Kent has taught and coached for several years. You knew it was game day when Doc and Marilyn had their Iowa State Flag out and attire on. Despite her own health challenges throughout her life, Marilyn was very caring and concerned about the welfare of others whether it be two legged or four legged friends. She would always check in with people and was in close touch with her dear friends from Logan High School. The love Marilyn and Don had for 57 years is one that is truly a rarity. Their love is shown in their family, which made up her whole life. She cherished her grandchildren, Amber and Roman and in the most recent year, great granddaughters, Lilly, Addison, and Aidan. This past week, Marilyn fought a tough battle with a brief illness, with her family by her side.

Marilyn is survived by her husband, Don “Doc” Hall of George, IA; her children, Kirk and spouse, Kris of Le Mars, IA; Jan Hall of Omaha, NE; Kent Hall of Dunlap, IA; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren; siblings, Esther (Pat) Dauge of Dunlap, IA; and sister-in-law, Sharon Donlin of Harlan, IA.

She was preceded in death by her parents Lloyd and Ruth Graham.
