Wanda Faye Bradley McDaniel, age 82, of Tellico Plains, TN., went home to be with the Lord and join her beloved husband in Heaven on Monday, November 7, 2016 at Life Care Center of Athens.

She was the only daughter out of 9 children born to the late R. A. and Sarah Eddington Bradley. A great mother, grandmother, aunt, friend and above all else, an amazing soldier for God, she served her Lord, the church and her family with everything she had. Faye was a founding member of Bible Baptist Church of Tellico Plains. She operated and managed Tellico and Madisonville Video stores for 30 years and loved participating in the Senior Olympics winning over 100 gold, silver and bronze medals.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 54 years, Eldon “Whitey” McDaniel, her parents, listed above, and brothers, Reynold, Walter, Kenneth, Elbert, Willard, and Joe Bradley.

Survivors include, daughter, Teresa Faye McDaniel of Athens, TN; sons and daughters-in-law, Harvey and Cynthia McDaniel of Tellico Plains, TN and Walter and Kellie McDaniel of Cartersville, GA ; grandchildren and spouses, Stephanie and Lynn Edwards and Andrea and Keith Webb all of Tellico Plains, TN, Brian and Jennifer McDaniel and Tracy and Steve Chalhub all of West Palm Beach, FL, Blake McDaniel and Jacob McDaniel both of Cartersville, GA; great grandchildren and spouse, Neyland and Damon Shaw, Daniel and Ben Edwards, Ireland Webb, Collin McDaniel, and Madison and Connor Chalhub; great-great granddaughter, Skyler Shaw; brothers and sister-in-law, R.C. Bradley and Chuck and Marianna Bradley; special friends, Jan Cochran and Dennis Miller and special care givers, La Donna Thornton, Carrie Chapman, Linda Lawson and Gail Hill; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at Bible Baptist Church in Tellico Plains. A Celebration of Life service and praise service will follow at the church Wednesday at 7:30 p.m., with Rev. Kevin Miller and Rev. Ronnie Best officiating. Family and friends will assemble at Myers Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 10, 2016 and proceed to Bible Baptist Church Cemetery for the 11:00 a.m., committal service. Brian McDaniel, Lynn Edwards, Daniel Edwards, Ben Edwards, Damon Shaw, Keith Webb, Mark Wilke and Freddie Wilke will serve as pallbearers. Blake McDaniel and Jacob McDaniel will serve as honorary pallbearers.
