Doyle lived in Pasadena, Texas since 1954. He honorably served in the United States Navy. He coached a Little League Baseball Team "Dodgers" in 1962. He was involved with Junior Achievement Program. He was an active member of First Baptist Church of Pasadena since 1954.
He worked at Rohm & Haas Chemical Plant in Deer Park, Texas, as a millwright for 37 years before retiring in 1991.
