Doyle Foreman, 82 years old, was our beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather. He passed peacefully through the gates of Heaven to be welcomed by his Lord to the eternal Mansion that God prepared for him on August 13, 2011. Born in Liberty, (Amite county) Mississippi on February 21, 1929. Doyle Foreman was one of the twelve children of Albert & Eunice (Stokes) Foreman. He was preceded in death by both parents, and 10 of his siblings and their spouses. Doyle is survived by his lovely wife of 61 years, Virgie Foreman. Daughter: Denise Carole Leeper and husband Hugh. Step-son: Jimmy Williams and wife Susan. Two Grandsons: Toby Ryan Neal and wife Candice and Justin Doyle Neal. Great-Grandson: Brian Lee Neal. Step Great-Grandchildren: Chloe Alexis Peery, Payge Cadence Allen, Christopher Wayne Morrison. Brother: James Foreman of Asheville, N.C. Sister: Maggie Dell Runyan and husband Ed of Fort Collins, Colorado; and several nieces and nephews.
Doyle lived in Pasadena, Texas since 1954. He honorably served in the United States Navy. He coached a Little League Baseball Team "Dodgers" in 1962. He was involved with Junior Achievement Program. He was an active member of First Baptist Church of Pasadena since 1954.
He worked at Rohm & Haas Chemical Plant in Deer Park, Texas, as a millwright for 37 years before retiring in 1991.
Visitation for friends and family will be held on Friday, August 19, 2011 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Grand View Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2011 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Grand View Funeral Home with Interment to follow in Grand View Memorial Park.
