DEATH OF L. S. AMMIDOWN
Luther S. Ammidown, a native and lifelong resident of this town, died at his home early Saturday morning from Bright's disease, which has troubled him for some time, and from which he has been confined to his bed for some weeks. He was a well known and respected man throughout this portion of the county, and a prominent man in local politics and business life up to within a short time before his death. Mr. Ammidown had control and owned a good deal of real estate in this town. He was 74 years of age, and leaves a widow, a son and a daughter.
