Larry L. Armstrong, 66, passed away on Wednesday, February 1, 2017.
Larry was born July 7, 1950 in Dallas to the late Sidney and Margie Armstrong. He grew up in Lancaster where he attended Lancaster High School. He moved to Grand Prairie after High School where he met and married the love of his life, Teresa. They later moved to Johnson County were they made their home and raised a daughter and 3 sons in a house full of laughter.
Larry worked over 20 years as a machinist for Maddox Metal Works. He moved into hydro-mulching and became a Real Estate Agent with Re-Max where he retired in 2003. Larry was known to be a master negotiator who always loved making the deal. He was always hard working, smart, and proud to provide for his family. Above all, he loved his family who will always love and miss him greatly.
Larry was preceded in death by his sons, Ronnie and Lonnie Armstrong; parents, Sidney and Margie Armstrong; brother, Donald Armstrong, and sister, Loretta Armstrong.
Survivors: Wife, Teresa Armstrong; daughter, Becky Greenwood and husband Todd; sons, Travis Armstrong and wife Amanda, Greg Armstrong and wife Lisa, and Clayton Armstrong and wife Meaghan; 9 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and extended family members.
