Mrs. Elsie I. Long, 78, of 316 W Jefferson St., died at 10 p.m. Saturday in Robert Long Hospital, Indianapolis, where she had been a patient for 2 weeks.
She was born Nov. 13, 1889 in Culver. On Nov. 5, 1913, in Culver, she was married to Asher B. Long who died May 24, 1960.
Surviving are 3 daughters, Mrs. Mary Jane Gelinas of Culver, and Mrs. Martha Thiede of Colden, Colorado; a son, Samuel Long of Chillicothe, Missour; 2 half-sisters, Mrs. Marie Cowen of Culver and Mrs. Rose Shaw of Riverside, Calif.; 4 grandsons; and 1 great granddaughter.
