Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at Southside Church of Christ with Phil Dunn officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 31, 2017 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Southside Church of Christ. Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home in Hopkinsville is in charge of the arrangements.
A native of Fort Benning, GA he was born October 17, 1960 the son of Jessie and Wanda Howell of Hopkinsville. He was the former owner and operator of Hopkinsville Screen Print and Embroidery. He was a member of Southside Church of Christ.
Survivors in addition to his parents include his sons: Mark Layne Howell II (Shay) and David Michael Howell (Lindsey) both of Hopkinsville; his brother: Tony Jay Howell (Belinda) of Cordova, TN; and five grandchildren: Anna Mara Howell, Shaw Thomas Howell, Emma Kate Howell, Jonah Michael Howell, and Levi David Howell.
