Roger W. Peterson, age 84, of Leopolis, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 2, 2020 at ThedaCare Medical Center in Shawano. Roger was born in Leopolis, WI on November 9, 1935 son of the late Freeman and Lena (Seehafer) Peterson. He graduated from Marion High School and went on to work at Marion Plywood for 50 years. He was united in marriage on August 4, 1956 to Carol Ryckman at St. John's Lutheran church in Leopolis. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran church and of the Leopolis Booster Club. Roger loved to spend time with his family and friends. He enjoyed being in the outdoors and liked hunting deer and pheasants.
Roger is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Sharon (Roger) Helms, Barbara (Ron) Carley, Roger A. (Debbie) Peterson, and Todd W. Peterson; his grandchildren Adam, Wendy (Brett), Tyler, Cassie (Nate), Megan (Peter), Amiya, and Myles; his great-grandchildren Eva, Nolan, Madeline, Signe, and Edwin. He is further survived by Carol's brother and sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and other relatives.
Roger is preceded by: his parents Freeman and Lena, his siblings Dorothy Webster, Owen Peterson, and Eugene Peterson.
