CHIPPEWA LAKE -- Freda H. Ankrim, 73, formerly of Barberton, died Sept.
5.

She was born in Oak Hill, Ohio, resided in Chippewa Lake for the past six
years, and was a member of Chippewa Lake Wesleyan Church.

Preceded in death by husband, Rev. Roy Ankrim, in 1984, she is survived by daughters, Jean Ann Metz of Barberton, Barbara Smith of Ashland; son, Paul
Ankrim of Alexandria, Va.; 10 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; sister, Merble Jenkins; brother, Duke Snyder, both of Oak Hill, Ohio.

Funeral services Saturday, 2 p.m., at the Calvary Wesleyan Church, 139 31st St. S.W., Barberton, Rev. C.E. Hanks officiating. Burial at Greenlawn
Cemetery. Visitation TODAY, 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.; and one hour prior to
services at the church.



Freda was our Pastors Mother-in-law. We were so blessed when she came to live in our community after the death of her husband. They had been missionary's and she was an awesome cook and that lady could sing! The roof would come off the church. She was so loved.
