Doyle Wayne Parks, Sr., age 72 of Newport, passed away Thursday. February 2, 2017.

He was a member of Centerview Missionary Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Opal Parks; first wife, Della Jackson Parks; brother, Ray Parks; and sister, Carolyn Parks Leonard.

He is survived by wife, Debra Giles Parks; sons, Darrell Ray Parks, Dustin Ryan Parks, Doyle Parks, Jr. (Lynda), and Michael Jackson; daughter, Donna (Jimmy) Ellison; seven grandchildren; papaw’s special babies, Lily and Daisy Levinsky and Samantha Anders; sister, Brenda Parks (Scott) Shoufler; great niece, Mikayla Lane; and many special friends.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 pm, Sunday February 5, 2017 in the Manes Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glen Ball, Rev. Ron Ball, Rev. Jerry Cline, and Rev. Gary Biggs officiating. Burial will follow in the Centerview Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm-7:00 pm, Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Manes Funeral Home.
