Long time Beaumont resident, Joe Murray Gregory, joined his wife Jackie and son Jerry in heaven, on Wednesday. He was employed and retired from Goodyear Chemical Company, after having served in the US Air Force for 28 years, and retiring as a Senior Master Sargent.
Joe and Jackie and their two sons, Gary and Jerry, returned to Beaumont in 1965, after touring the world with the Air Force. In the 1980s, he owned the popular gathering place in Tyrell Park, The 19th Hole.

A native of Fred, Texas, Joe is survived by his son, Gary Gregory and daughter-in-law Debie Gregory, of Beaumont, grandchildren Jordyn Rodden and Lance Gregory, of Colorado, Leah Gregory, of Oregon, great-granddaughter Emily Rodden, of Colorado and several nieces, and their families, in the Beaumont area.

Visitation will be at Lumberton Family Funeral home on Monday, Feb. 6th, from 5-7 pm.
Graveside burial service will be held at the Frank's Branch Cemetery, in Fred, Texas, on Tuesday, Feb. 7, at 11 am. He fought a good fight. He will be sorely missed.
