Sandra Kay Quarnberg
May 14, 1959 – January 30, 2017

Ogden – Our dear beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend passed away peacefully on Monday January 30, 2017, surrounded by her family.
She was a graduate of Tooele High School, and resided in Tooele until moving to Harrisville in 1992. She met many great friends in Harrisville, and started working in the lunchroom at Farr West Elementary, Weber High School, and was a Child Nutrition Manager at Bates Elementary for about 8 years.
Our mother enjoyed camping with her family, whitewater rafting down the Snake River, trips to the sand dunes with her friends, and spending any time she could with her family. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and held several callings throughout her life. She was sealed in the Salt Lake Temple to the love of her life, Rex Quarnberg.
She is survived by her husband Rex Quarnberg; and their three children: Amanda (Dustin) Jackson, Kelsie (Justin) Peterson, and Andrew (Alysa) Quarnberg; seven grandkids: Kyler, Kayden, Brayden, Keaton, Kalder, Briggs, and Ryann; her father Thomas Egelund; and five siblings. She is preceded in death by her mother Karen Egelund; and her grandparents.
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at McKay-Dee Hospital ICU, that provided extraordinary care for our mother.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 1 p.m., at the LDS church 3035 North 1325 West, Pleasant View. A viewing will be held Friday, February 3rd from 6 - 8 p.m., at the Ogden Myers Mortuary 845 Washington Blvd., and Saturday, February 4, 2017 from 12:00 – 12:40 at the church. Interment to follow at Redwood Memorial Estates.
