Paul G. Little, 83, of Boone, NC, died January 28, 2017, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. He was born on October 25, 1933, in Ashe County.
Paul graduated from Riverview High School in 1952. He served in the US Army for two years, taught school in Ashe County for 14 years and managed Roten's Furniture/Heilig-Meyers Furniture in Boone for 29 years. He was also a member and Deacon at Three Top Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Roten Little; daughter, Beverly Marsh and husband, Robert, of Boone; son, Steven Little and wife, Debbie, of Clemmons; brother, Jack Little of Raleigh; granddaughters, Emily Breighner and husband, Paul, Sarah Marsh and fiancé, Dave Zinnerman, and Haley Little; grandson, Matthew Little; great-grandson, Liam Breighner; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Jake and Hettie Little; and two brothers, Herman Little and John Little.
Funeral services held at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by the Rev. Bluferd Eldreth, and the Rev. Ronda Rash. Burial in Ashelawn Memorial Gardens.
