James-Cook, Jennifer "Jenny" age 57 of Lebanon, Ohio passed unexpectedly Thursday evening, November 1, 2012 at Bethesda Arrowsprings. Born July 5, 1955 in Dayton, Ohio; Jenny was the daughter of John Vail and Caryl (Whipple) James and was a loving and devoted wife, step-mother, sister and friend to all who knew her. Jenny was a 1973 graduate of Lebanon High School and for many years, was the local Deputy Registrar and owner of the Mulberry Bush Shop in Lebanon, Ohio. Jenny was a member of the Lebanon United Methodist Church and enjoyed raising and training championship Scotties. For several years, Jenny was a member of and Chairwoman the Applefest Committee.

Preceded in death by her parents, Jenny leaves behind her husband Brian L. Cook of Lebanon, Ohio; step-daughters Jessica (Matt) Martin of Indiana and Cassidy Cook of Oregonia, Ohio; brothers Doug "Boomer" (Peggy) James and Steve (Susan) James all of Gaylord, Michigan; sister Lynn (Terry) Zecher of Mason, Ohio; nephews Robert James and Matthew Zecher and nieces Lori Puffinbarger, Karen Merritt, Tracy Money and Christy McDonel and many other family members and friends.

Friends may call on the family Saturday, November 10, 2012 from 11:00am until 12:00pm at the Stine Kilburn Funeral Home. Prayer & scripture will be offered by the family at 12:00pm.
