Obituary from The Sunday Herald (Provo, Utah) - Sunday, December 4, 1966:

HEBER CITY - Funeral services for Reed Wootton, 61, who died Thursday evening at his home of a heart ailment, will be held Monday at 1 p.m. in the Midway Firth LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call at the Olpin Mortuary in Heber City, today from 7 to 9 p.m., and Monday prior to services. Burial will be in the Midway Cemetery.

He was born January 12, 1905 in Midway, Wasatch County, the son of John A. and Martha Melvina Huffaker Wootton. He married Kate Meeks, October 14, 1933 in Heber City.

Mr. Wootton was a member of the LDS Church. He was employed as a miner and had served with the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his wife; one son, Keith Wayne Wootton of Heber City; two daughters, Mrs. Jerry (Gloria) Denbow of Heber City, and Mrs. Tom (Karen) Summarell of Park City; six grandchildren; two brothers, Ray Wootton of Boise and Alma Wootton of Grantsville, Tooele County.
