Sharon Moran, 56, of Houston, formerly of Midland passed away on December 30, 2006 at the Odyssey Hospice Unit in Houston. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at 1:00 pm at Resthaven Memorial Park in Midland with Rev. Waymon Swopes officiating.

Sharon was born November 11, 1950 to Joseph and Gilda Horton. She grew up in Hobbs and graduated high school there. She worked for Marathon and Dowell in Midland. Sharon came to Midland in 1981 and lived there until 1994 when she moved to Houston. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to fish and enjoyed researching her family history.

Survivors include her husband Larry Moran of Houston; a daughter, Tracy Fryar and husband Craig of Stanton; three sons, Shane Harless, Landon Moran, and Lonnie Moran all of Houston; four grandchildren, Logan Fryar, Austin Fryar, Cassandra Harless, and Lucas Moran. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, James Clay.

The family suggests memorials be made to American Cancer Society, 2304 W. Wadley, Midland, TX 79705.
