Mrs. Callie Brevard
Callie Allison Brevard, 77, of Circleville, Ohio, died Monday at Grant Hospital, Columbus, following a stroke. She was born Feb 10, 1891, in Hookstown, a daughter of the late Hardy Allison and Mary Marshall Allison. Mrs. Brevard was a retired schoolteacher. She and her husband, the late Lewis J. Brevard, operated a candy store in Pittsburgh for 45 years. Mrs. Brevard was a member of the Oakland Free Methodist Church here. A son, Paul Lewis Brevard of Circleville, survives. There are four grandchildren. Services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in the Welch Funeral Home at Hookstown. Burial will follow in the Mill Creek Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 7 to 10 p.m.
