Lynda Thompson, 73, passed away peacefully at home on January 26, 2017 following her battle with cancer.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bill Thompson, her mother Clara Cook and her brother Jim Parker.

Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her family: Son, David (Karen) Krauskopf, Granddaughter Katrina (Alex) Doran, Great Grandson Aiden Doran, Sister Peggy Herring, Brother Bill Parker and many cousins, nieces and nephews which she adored greatly. She influenced the lives of so many with her caring, compassionate and honest personality. Lynda inspired those around her to live life fully and to always give more of your self than what is expected.

She will be greatly missed by all those who loved her so much.

The family wishes to thank all of her doctors, nurses, hospice care of Sage Hospice and most importantly all of her friends and family who were by her side each and every day through this journey.

A memorial honoring Lynda’s life will be held at Bethel Presbyterian Church in East Columbia on February 25th at 11:00 am.
