John Walker was the oldest son of William Walker and Susannah Graham. John was married to Lucretia Martin 24 February 1824. They were charter members of the Sulphur Springs Baptist Church and lived all of their life in Sulphur Springs. They were the parents of William, Chloe, Susannah, Henry Martin, Sarah Jane, Anna, and John Walker, Jr.

According to estate papers John was deceased 13 Febuary 1863. John and son Henry Martin had bought land from the Galloways and I am most certain he is buried in the Walker-Galloway Cemetery where he was living at the time of his death. Many researchers think he is buried at Fairview Cemetery which is not likely.

It is unknown where William and Susannah Graham Walker are buried. Also unknown where the youngest sister Susannah Walker is buried. It is possible they could be buried in the Old Hunt Cemetery, first cemetery before Sulphur Springs Cemetery. One daughter of William & Susannah is buried there; Anna Walker Deakins. A granddaughter Sarah Jane walker Keefauver is buried there.
