A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Friday February 3, 2017 at St. Lukes Lutheran Church where she was a member with Pastor Jeff Hoffner officiating and burial to follow in Sandy Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from Noon until 2pm prior to the service at the church and at other times at the home.
Teresa was born August 11, 1945 in Newton, Kansas to Floyd S. Shoaf and Mildred Lucille Lackey Shoaf. She was retired from The Davidson County Schools where she worked at West Davidson and also was a bus driver. Her father, infant son Jerry Floyd Baker and an infant granddaughter, Montana Leigh Baker (Memorial #18900710) all preceded her in death.
Surviving are her loving husband, Billy Edward Baker of the home; sons, Rodney Keith Baker (Maureen) and Brian Scott Baker (Stephanie) all of Lexington; grandchildren, Kody Baker, Piper Baker, Rhea Varker (Joey), Nathan Baker, Noah Baker and Joseph Baker; great grandchildren, Mason Riddle, Turner Riddle and Andrew Varker; her mother of Lexington, and sisters, Pam Smith of Southmont and Linda Dougan (Kent) of Lexington.
