8 Mar 1879: Amos R. Boughter, Esq., died yesterday morning after an illness of about two months. He was aged 55 years, and was a leading member of Lebanon Bar, had served on term in the State Senate, and also a member of Lebanon Borough Council, He was a member of Mt. Lebanon Lodge, No. 121 of Int. Order of Odd Fellows; and of Mt. Lebanon Lodge No. 226 AYM. Relatives and friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend the funeral Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock from his late residence on Cumberland Street. Interment Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
