Quinton Whitfield, aged 65 of Houston died Saturday. He was a WWII veteran. Survivors are his wife Mrs. Vaudie Gage Whitfield; two sons, Larry and David, both of Houston; a daughter, Miss Peggy Sue Whitfield of the home; five brothers, Oscar Whitfield and Jack Tanner, both of Little Rock, Delbert Whitfield of Perryville, Paul Whitfield of Cicero, Ill., and Justin Tanner of Casa, and two sisters, Mrs Charlene Womble of Independence, MO., and Mrs Loleta Rainey of Little Rock. Funeral will be at 2pm Monday at Harris Funeral Home at Morrilton. Burial will be at Aunt Dilly Cemetery(Perry County).
**Note David Whitfield should have been Danny or Daniel Whitfield. Both Danny and his sister Peggy were the adopted children of Quinton & Vaudie Whitfield. They were the biological child of Larry Whitfield
