Laurence, age 86, passed away at Via Christi Village in Pittsburg. He was the son of Laurence T. and Mina (Bletcher) Martin. He graduated from Clay Center (KS) High School in 1947 and Kansas State Teachers College with a bachelors and masters Degree. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He married Ila Jo Mustard on August 8, 1950, in McCune, Kansas. He is survived by his children, David Martin, Rick Martin, and Judy Martin, his sisters, Ruth Tollefson and Rachael Bailey, five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife. Services were held at First United Methodist Church. Burial was in McCune Cemetery.
