MRS. GAY A. COOPER
A funeral service for Mrs. Gay Alma Cooper, 73, of King George County will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Mountain View Baptist Church in King George. The Rev. Willis Dempsey will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Alvin Riley, Richard Riley, Michael Riley, Michael Guinn, Herbert Williams and Roland Allen. Mrs. Cooper died Tuesday at St. Luke's Hospital in Richmond. A native of Stafford County, she was a member of Embrey Chapel Baptist Church in Stafford. Mrs. Cooper was the widow of Wickliffe Cooper. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Sidney "Salley" Hall of King George; a son, Richard Lee Cooper of King George; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight at Wheeler and Thompson Funeral Home. They request that expressions of sympathy be contributions to the Mountain View Baptist Church Building Fund.
