James Arthur McKinney, age 69, died this morning at 2:00 at his hone, 217 Oak street, Tipton. He was the victim of a serious heart attack which started last night after he had returned from a Sunday auto trip to the north part of the state with his daughter, Mrs. Ralph Ballenger and husband. He had been subject to heart attacks for some time but recently had been in fairly good health and his death was quite unexpected.

The funeral arrangements have not been made except that burial will be at Albright cemetery.

The body was taken to the Young's mortuary for preparation and was returned to the home where friends are invited to call.

The deceased had lived most of his life in Tipton, but was born in Howard county. A daughter, Augusta McKinney, died many years ago.

Mr. McKinney had been a tree surgeon for several years and did this kind of work in Tipton for numerous people.
