He was born November 29, 1952 in Paris, Illinois, the son of Max A. and Patricia (Campbell) Jones Sr. He married Debra Walters on August 14, 1998 in Mesa, Arizona and she survives.
Other survivors include his mother; a daughter, Melissa Pittman; two brothers, John Jones and Randel Jones; a sister, Michelle Young; four grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Jones, and his father, Max Jones Sr.
He was retired after working several years as the owner and operator of ChaMycah enterprises trucking.
Mr. Jones served in the United States Marine Corps. during the Vietnam War. He loved the outdoors, where he could often be found hunting, fishing, mushroom hunting or mowing. He enjoyed flying remote controlled quads and airplanes, and watching Judge Judy. He also enjoyed watching football, especially when his grandson was playing.
